“Day of Giving” Money will Build New Stage

Grace Academy will be participating again this year in the Community Foundation of Washington County’s annual “Day of Giving.” The 24-hour event on May 5th allows organizations to raise funds in a “fun” way, that includes matching dollar opportunities for getting people involved in helping their favorite non-profit. Grace Academy raised $5,300 for their endowment fund during last year’s campaign. This year’s money will go toward the school’s capital project of building a “semi-permanent” stage at the far end of the gym. To give to Grace on that day, donors simply need to click on https://washingtoncountygives.org/#npo/grace-academy  and donate.

Welcome to Grace Academy

Grace Academy is a private, non-denominational Christian school that serves students from age 3 through grade 12, with its mission to “provide an environment of academic excellence and Biblical teaching that will develop an educated citizen with a Biblical world and life view AND a desire to represent our Lord Jesus Christ in all walks of life.”

In addition to our local students, we have an International Program that welcomes about 50 students from 10 different nations around the world. Since these students come for at least a year, we quickly established our International Host Family Program. We have seen great success in matching international students with Hagerstown-area families, which provide a “U.S. Family” while they are here studying at Grace.

All Grace Academy students are challenged daily with a rigorous academic schedule. Students on the secondary side of the school must excel in academics and behavior in order to enjoy our fall, winter and spring sports and our many performing arts opportunities.

Thank you for your interest in Grace Academy. Please continue to peruse our site to find out more about our Christian school or contact us directly during school hours at the phone number or email (button) listed at the top right corner of each page. We would love to meet with you and discuss why our program may be a great choice for your child’s educational journey.
