Summer Camp 2017


As the parent or legal guardian of the camper, please complete all the information requested below no later than the Friday prior to the desired week of camp. A registration form must be submitted for each camper you wish to enroll.

The cost per camper per week is just $120 and $100 per second registered camper of the same family. Register per session (4 consecutive weeks of camps), and the cost is just $430 per camper ($50 savings!). 

Barnyard Blast & the Wild, Wild West!
June 5 - 9 

Lead Teacher: Elizabeth Stevens 
Assistant Teacher: Katie Stewart 
This week is guaranteed to make campers shout “yee-haw” as they go horseback riding, meet alpaca and a mini horse. Campers will also travel to Misty Meadows to learn all about dairy farming and visit the pool to swim on Friday!

Sports & More
June 12 - 16

You don’t have to be an athlete to participate in this week of camp! Campers will explore different and fun types of sports such as hiking, fishing, swimming and mini-golf. Experiences this week include swimming, hiking at
Pen-Mar, mini-golf and  fishing at a local pond.  

A Builder’s World
June 19 - 23

Assistant Teacher: Katie Wingert
Campers will have a blast engaging with STEM concepts through hands-on learning, explore with the LEGO exhibit at Discovery Station and use problem solving skills and creativity to design their own Lego structures. 

Rain Forest & Water 
June 26 - 30

Assistant Teacher: Katie Wingert
Put on your safari vests, grab your explorer hats and prepare to learn about life in the rain forest! Join us for hands-on activities in a greenhouse and in the water!

A Bug’s Life
July 10 - 14 

Lead Teacher: Samantha Stanley
Assistant Teacher: Katie Stewart 
200 million to 1.  That’s the insect to human ratio. WOW! Join us and learn more about these fascinating creatures! Students will travel to the Catoctin Zoo to learn more about bugs, wildlife life cycles. 

Fun Fairy Tales, Fables & Stories
July 17 - 21

Assistant Teacher: Katie Wingert
Once upon a time, students explored different kinds of fairy tales and fables! Travel to Maugansville Ruritan Park Pavilion to watch an Authentic Community Theater production, enjoy a picnic lunch and play at the park with us!

Ooey Gooey Science & Art! 
July 24 - 28

Lead Teacher: Samantha Stanley 
Assistant Teacher: Katie Stewart
This will be a week of getting your hands messy! Students will explore “matter” in all forms with hands-on activities. Students will also travel to the Discovery Museum. 

Fun Under the Big Top! 
July 31 - Aug. 4

Assistant Teacher: Katie Wingert
Ladies and Gentlemen, children of all ages, come join us in our last week of camp with a moon bounce, circus/carnival style games and lots of fun!
