We look forward to our fourth year participating in Washington County Gives, a 24-hour day of giving on Tuesday, May 2 from midnight to midnight. We invite you to participate and help us reach our goal for the day!

Each year, we designate our Washington County Gives funds for a specific project to directly benefit our students at Grace Academy. This year, the funds will go toward purchasing 30 iPads for our elementary and athletic program use. Our 140+ elementary students currently share one set of 30 iPads for educational purposes and would greatly benefit sharing twice the number of current iPads. Four of the iPads will be designated for our athletic program to maintain cloud-based stat sheets and offer smoother payment options for our concessions. iPads would improve our athletic program by providing a method of instantly updating student athlete statistics and digitally archiving all team records. iPads would also allow credit card payments for gate fees and concession stands, which would increase overall athletic program streams of income.

Our fundraising goal to purchase the iPads is $10,000 through the Washington County Gives 24-hour day of giving and cash prizes. The Washington County Community Foundation has solicited $55,000 in matching funds & $28,000 in prize money, for a total of $83,000 sponsor dollars. All participating nonprofits will receive a pro-rated matching amount based upon the total dollars raised, as compared to the total matching dollars (if we have $55,000 in matching dollars and $550,000 is the total raised, then the match will be 10%; in this example, if you raised $10,000, your match would be $1,000). Prizes awarded throught the day include:
