Middle School Girls Soccer Coach

The middle school girls soccer coach reports directly to the Athletic Director. Coaches are held to a high standard of integrity and Christ-like actions on and off the field.

The coach is responsible for instructing student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. Coaches motivate student athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport and a desire to glorify God in all they say and do.

Requirements/responsibilities:

  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • Must be a professing follower of Christ

  • Experience playing and/or coaching soccer

  • Experience instructing players, individually or in groups, regarding the rules, regulations, equipment and techniques of the sport                    

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to be present for each practice and match, including away travel

  • Works with the athletic director to develop a policy for awards and submits a list of award winners at the end of the season

  • Participates in special activities to include sports banquets and award nights

  • Works well with student athletes, parents and staff

  • Experience working with children and youth preferred

  • Follows state, regional, and Mason Dixon Christian Conference (MDCC) regulations governing the athletic program

High School Golf Coach

The golf coach reports directly to the Athletic Director. All coaches are held to a high standard of integrity and Christ-like actions on and off the field.

The coach is responsible for instructing student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. Coaches motivate student athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport and a desire to glorify God in all they say and do.

  • Experience playing competitive golf

  • Experience instructing players, individually or in groups, regarding the rules, regulations, equipment and techniques of the sport                    

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to be present for each practice and match, including away travel

  • Works with the athletic director to develop a policy for awards and submits a list of award winners at the end of the season

  • Participates in special activities to include sports banquets and award nights

  • Works well with student athletes, parents and staff

  • Experience working with children and youth preferred

ASL Instructor

Grace Academy is expanding its academic and vocational curriculum by adding American Sign Language. Candidates must be ASL certified instructors with 3-5 years interpretive and practical experience, preferably in a school or other institutional setting.

Preferred candidates must possess or be eligible to complete a current Maryland Professional Eligibility Certificate (PEC) in Special Education or another other state's transferable equivalency.
