Social Media Safety

As a school and administration, we strive to be positive partners with you to instruct our students to lead lives that bring glory and honor to God. We know many, if not all, of our students have social media accounts, such as Facebook, Instagram and SnapChat, and we believe parents play a part in helping students use social media responsibly. There are many tools and apps available to help parents monitor and guide children's social media use, but here are a few guidelines for starters.

Grace Volleyball Dominates NACA Div. II

The Grace Academy girls varsity volleyball team competed in the three-day National Association of Christian Athletes (NACA) Invitational in Dayton, Tenn. among 50 total teams and earned the Division II NACA championship title.

Volunteer Background Check

Dear Grace Academy Volunteers, As our Administration continues to lead Grace Academy forward, all adult volunteers will be required to complete a National Background Check before volunteering in the building and helping with school-sanctioned events, effective November 1.

After more than 17 years of running a childcare business, Sue James decided to put her love for the children and her sense of humor and fun into a series of adventures for kids ages 6-9 but still brings smiles to faces of all ages.

Senior Class Fundraising Board

To help us fundraise for our mission trip to Nicaragua in March, Grace Academy seniors have made it fun and easy to donate. In the front lobby of the school is a brightly colored board with more than 200 opportunities to support their mission trip. Simply choose one of the envelopes (any envelope you want!), fill it with the designated amount and return it to Amy Casto or the main office. As envelopes are taken down, you will reveal our beautiful faces!

Urban Hope Mission Trip

Urban Hope will submerge students in the Philadelphia culture in the Kensington neighborhood. Students will take part in homeless ministry, cross-cultural neighborhood outreach, a prayer walk, and work with youth and kids ministries.

We encourage our sophomores, juniors, and seniors to consider attending the ACSI Leadership Conference this fall designed specifically for them. Last year we took nine students and we would like just as many and more to join this year!

Headmaster at Grace Academy Dr. Mathew McIntosh has published “Faith’s Fortune: The Legacy,” book two of the trilogy. “The Legacy” is available at Barnes and Noble and on Amazon.

Grace Academy implements one-to-one technology program

Grace Academy will give students in grades six through 12 their own HP laptops in August for in-class and at-home use through its new one-to-one technology program. Faculty and administration are looking forward to how the new program will benefit each student’s learning experience and success.
