New headmaster at Grace Academy Dr. Mathew McIntosh recently published "Faith's Fortune: The Promise," the first book of three. "I wanted something that would glorify God," McIntosh said.

Grace Academy board member stars in local play

Grace Academy board member George Michael stars as the Reverend Doctor Harper in Joseph Kesselring's Arsenic & Old Lace with the Chambersburg Community Theatre March 11-13 and March 18-20. Michael is also a former Grace Academy principal and son of Grace Academy founder Mary Michael.

Blizzard of 2016

As the big storm, named “Jonas” by meteorologists, approached, many students and staff had their predictions. Principal Michael Cole predicted 21 inches. Mr. Cole said he would spend his snow days shoveling with his daughters. Mr.Wilson said it was all a conspiracy. Collin McCarthy, 8th grade,  predicted one foot of snow.

When asked why Grace Academy celebrated Chinese New Year, Lead Middle/High School Lead Teacher Mr. Alex Lehman shared, “it’s to show we respect to our Asian international students and help them not to feel so homesick.”

Grace Academy fans held their breath in suspense, but their camera phones were poised to capture the moment. From the free throw line during the Knights’ basketball game versus the Shenandoah Patriots, junior Mark Koontz scored his 1000th point.
